PDS II 2-0 (Polydioxanone) is a monofilament surgical suture used for soft-tissue approximation requiring extended wound support.
A synthetic absorbable monofilament that retains strength far longer than most absorbables — meaningful support for around six weeks and full absorption in roughly 180–210 days — making it suitable for slow-healing tissue such as fascia.
