VICRYL 2-0 (Polyglactin 910) is a braided, coated multifilament surgical suture used for general soft-tissue approximation and ligation.
Absorbed by hydrolysis with predictable tensile-strength loss over roughly 2–3 weeks and full absorption in about 56–70 days. VICRYL Plus references add a triclosan antibacterial coating that inhibits bacterial colonisation of the suture.
