Authenticity & product verification

How do I verify that your Ethicon sutures are genuine?

Every box we supply is original Ethicon packaging carrying its lot number and expiry date. Before dispatch we confirm the exact lots in your order and can provide inspection photos, so your QA team can verify what will arrive. We source only through legitimate supply channels and never sell repackaged or relabeled product.

Are your products the same as Ethicon products sold locally?

Yes — same manufacturer product and reference codes (e.g. W8020T, J497G). Packaging language or region codes may differ depending on the sourcing market, which we state on the quote so there are no surprises at customs or goods-in inspection.

Ordering, MOQ & pricing

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ depends on the reference and current stock, but we work with orders from a few boxes per reference for trial/first orders, up to full-carton wholesale volumes. Tell us your target quantity in the quote request and we will confirm what's possible.

Why don't you show prices on the website?

Wholesale pricing varies with quantity, destination, and current stock, so a flat public price would be inaccurate. Quotes are free, carry no obligation, and are returned within one business day with price, availability, batch data, and lead time.

Can I mix different references in one order?

Yes — most buyers do. Add all references to a single quote request (or list them in the message box) and we will quote them together with combined shipping.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfer (T/T), Wise, and PayPal. Payment details and terms are confirmed on the proforma invoice. For first-time or smaller trial orders, PayPal offers a familiar layer of buyer protection.

Which currencies can you quote in?

USD by default. Local currencies can be discussed depending on your market — mention your preference when you request a quote.

Shipping & export

Which countries do you ship to?

We export to hospitals and distributors in 40+ markets across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Latin America. If you are unsure about your market, ask — we will confirm feasibility and any import requirements before you order.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock references dispatch within 1–3 business days of payment. Transit time depends on destination and courier/freight choice — typically 3–7 days by express courier. Exact lead time is stated on your quote.

How are sutures packed for international shipping?

Original sealed Ethicon boxes, protected in export cartons. Sutures do not require cold-chain transport; we protect shipments against moisture and crushing, and label them for smooth customs inspection.

Who handles import clearance in my country?

We are a Hong Kong–based trading company and handle the export side: dispatch, commercial invoice, and packing list. Import clearance, any local medical device registration, and duties are handled by the buyer as the importer. Our paperwork is prepared to work smoothly with your customs broker.

What documents do you provide with an order?

Every shipment includes a commercial invoice and packing list for customs clearance. Batch traceability travels with the product itself: every original Ethicon box carries its lot number and expiry date, which your goods-in and QA team can log on arrival.

Do you provide batch numbers and expiry dates before shipping?

Lot numbers and expiry dates are printed on every original Ethicon box. During pre-shipment inspection we confirm the exact lots and expiry in your order and can share inspection photos, so your QA team sees exactly what will arrive. We supply long-dated stock wherever possible.

Are you affiliated with Ethicon or Johnson & Johnson?

No. OGT Medical Supply is an independent distributor. Ethicon™ is a trademark of Johnson & Johnson, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Ethicon, Inc. or Johnson & Johnson. What we supply is genuine Ethicon product, sourced through legitimate supply channels, with the lot number and expiry date on every original box.

How does the quote process work?

Send us your reference list and quantities via the quote form, WhatsApp, or email. Within one business day you receive price, stock status, batch data, and lead time. Approve it, pay the proforma invoice, and we ship with tracking.

Do you inspect goods before shipping?

Yes. Every order is inspected before dispatch — references, quantities, lot numbers, and expiry dates are checked against your confirmed order, and inspection photos or video are available on request. Because everything is verified in writing before shipping, delivery disputes are rare.
