ETHILON® (nylon) is a non-absorbable monofilament suture — one of the most common choices for skin closure and microsurgery thanks to its smoothness and low tissue reactivity.
As an inert monofilament, ETHILON produces minimal tissue reaction and a clean pass through skin and delicate tissue. It retains adequate strength for the life of the wound and is typically removed once healing is complete, or buried where appropriate.
