PROLENE 3-0 (Polypropylene) is a monofilament surgical suture used for cardiovascular, plastic and general soft-tissue closure.
An inert monofilament that is not absorbed and retains tensile strength indefinitely in tissue. Its smooth surface causes minimal tissue drag and resists harbouring micro-organisms, which is why it is a long-standing choice for vascular anastomoses and continuous closure.
