ETHILON 6-0 (Nylon (polyamide)) is a monofilament surgical suture used for skin closure and general soft-tissue approximation.
A smooth monofilament nylon suture that gradually loses a small fraction of its tensile strength per year through slow hydrolysis but is, for practical purposes, non-absorbable. Widely used for percutaneous skin closure where a fine, low-reactivity material is wanted.
